How National Insurance is changing: A word from Vicky Kingston

As most of us are aware, as of yesterday (April 6th) National Insurance (NI) payments increased to help the NHS recover from the Covid pandemic and continue to fund social care across England.

Employees, employers and the self employed will all pay 1.25p more in the pound for NI moving forward. This applies to anyone earning over £9,880 a year, However, from July 2022 this threshold will increase to £12,570.

This is set to continue until April 2023.

So how much more will employees be paying over the next 12 months? Watch our video to find out more…..
