Where are we now?

On 25th October, Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister, entering No. 10 at a critical time for the UK economy.

On November 17th, the Chancellor has the opportunity to set out plans for growth which underpin investment by businesses in improving productivity, from skills to employment support and technology.

New job advert numbers remain high with between 1.4 to 1.5 million active adverts since mid-August, but volatile in the face of economic and political uncertainty.
